Schuler´s line

The Schuler's trademark was named after Luis Oscar Schuler Stadler. In 1969, Andres Solidoro Santiestaban, M.D., a Peruvian physician widely renowned in the field of cancer treatment, diagnosed Mr. Schuler a terminal cancerous tumor in the lung. Mr. Schuler also suffered of chronic rheumatism and severe urine retention. He was prescribed fifty cobalt sessions, having chemotherapy or an operation been discarded due to his precarious health condition.
After 24 sessions, and having lost every hope, Mr. Schuler abandoned the treatment, since he did not want to suffer any more. As a last and desperate attempt, his son, Oscar Schuler, upon recommendation of an Ashaninka woman, started giving him a tea made with the root of a plant known Cat's Claw. After only one month of having taken it, Luis Schuler experienced a great improvement in his physical condition and mood. He had recovered enough health as to sit and talk. Two months later, with the same treatment, he moved easily around the house and lived a normal life.

A year after this, new x-rays were taken of the lungs and it was found that the cancer had completely disappeared. Nevertheless, Dr. Solidoro could not speak of a definitive cure unless his patient was able to survive five years without a new appearance of the cancer.

Schuler kept drinking this tea throughout his life and lived over twelve years since the time he had abandoned every hope of cure. During all this time he did not suffer major conditions.

In 1995, a joint venture was executed with the Schuler family in order to market the Oscar Schuler Cat's Claw. Thanks to this alliance, HERSIL GAINED a great experience in the marketing of medicinal plants - especially Cat's Claw - and knows the local and foreign markets, where it has been able to position itself as the leader in this category of products.

The following products are being currently marketed:
